We Shall Remain: Tecumseh’s Vision (2009)

Director (with Chris Eyre), Producer and Writer. Ric Burns’s latest film is a multi-dimensional portrait of Tecumseh, organizer of one of the greatest Pan-Indian resistance movements ever mounted on the North American Continent. The second episode of a five-part American Experience series – TECUMSEH’S VISION uses on-camera interviews and dramatic reenactments shot with a feature film sensibility to depict the warrior’s final attempt to preserve an Indian homeland east of the Mississippi. The We Shall Remain series aired as part of WGBH Boston’s American Experience 2009 season.
